LOCAL COMPANY LEASES NEW OFFICE SPACE TO ACCOMODATE EXPANSION
Vancouver Community Credited with Supporting Dotster's Explosive Growth
VANCOUVER, Wash., August 24, 2005–Dotster, Inc., one of the world’s largest domain name registrars, today announced it is moving its Vancouver, Washington corporate headquarters to new, larger office space to accommodate the company’s explosive growth.
With nearly three million of the world’s Internet domains registered through Dotster, the company tripled its domain registration business in 2005. The success led the company to search for larger office space to accommodate its employees and infrastructure.
Assisted by NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson, a real estate brokerage and asset/property management company, Dotster leased 10,817 square feet of Class A office space from Schnitzer Investment Corp. at 8100 Parkway in Vancouver.
The five-year old company will move its growing staff at the end in October, and will continue to add new employees through the end of the year. According to CEO Clint Page, Dotster’s culture, performance, and location enable them to attract the region’s top talent. “People shouldn’t have to choose between a good quality of life and a rewarding, challenging job. By keeping a top-performing Internet company here in the Northwest, we’re making sure our employees can have both,” he said.
